Harris’s List of Covent Garden Ladies is a song cycle for voice and guitar by Spanish composer and conductor Oscar Colomina i Bosch. Winner of the Barbican/GSMD Creative Learning Lab (2011), it is based on an 18th century listing of London prostitutes, tapes from the Berlusconi/D’Addario case and the diary of a female pimp in Barcelona. In addition to original songs for voice and guitar, the cycle incorporates Mozart Lieder, guitar solos and contemporary texts to form a one hour performance piece.
Litanies on the Collapse of Ones’ Reality is a large scale solo guitar work by Spanish composer and conductor Oscar Colomina i Bosch. Written during a residency at Cove Park, the work became part of an interdisciplinary Arts collaboration with artist Albert Corbí at the Bilbao Arte Fundazioa, Spain.
