Romantic Guitar Anthology Vol.3 is now available.  This repertoire book is published by Schott and includes a CD with Jens performing all of the pieces in the volume.

Jens returns to Champs Hill, West Sussex in March 2010 to record a solo album devoted to the guitar works and arrangements of Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856).  The recording was produced by Ates Orga and engineered by Ken Blair and features a brand new Michael Gee guitar.

Jens returns to Handel House, London, with a solo programme including Giuliani’s arrangement of Rossini’s La Cenerentola Ouverture and Mertz’ Rigoletto Paraphrase.  Also included is the premiere of a new work by Oscar Colomina i Bosch.

Jens returns to the studio during November as part of his Romantic Guitar Anthology Series for Schott, London.

Jens performs Carulli´s Guitar Concerto Op.140 with Langtree Sinfonia and conductor Paul Cox.

In this set of two recitals, Jens explores music by Johann Kaspar Mertz, Francisco Tárrega and Franz Schubert. The programmes will also include a guitar miniature by Oscar Colomina i Bosch, A White Shell, written in 2005.

Jens is collaborating with composer Oscar Colomina i Bosch and photographer and artist Albert Corbí in developing an installation art project themed around scenery and destruction.

The project will take place in August 2009 in Bilbao Arte Fundazioa and Oscar Colomina i Bosch has completed a substantial solo guitar work for it. Litanies on the collapse of one’s reality, written for Jens, will be performed live and recorded in the installation space.

Jens is welcomed back by conductor Paul Cox and Reading Youth Orchestra.

Jens’ previous collaboration with Paul Cox included two performances of Joaquín Rodrigo’s famous Concierto de Aranjuez.
